A new computer?

I'm thinking of migrating to the 64-bit platform maybe end of this year or early next year.

Thinking of gettin a new mobo, gfx, cpu which has the same performance as my current rig or better....but unfortunately have a budget of around $1000.

Now using a 2.8E prescott, and i want to move over to AMD side.

Is my budget too much/little?
And any suggestions for my new rig? (thinking of getting a DFI mobo)

Clearing up my desk...

I decided to clear up my desk 2day....not my books but my wires....they were sooo messy....

By the way, did you see my new Blade ups? :D

So I went to work with a par of sissors and some velcro cable ties......and voila! a neat and tidy desk!

I won a Blade UPS!!!

Oh my gosh! I won a Uninterrupted Power Supply worth $90!! All I did was to tell the brand of the ups to a guy and I WON IT!!!

Where? I went to the CPL @ Padang today and I just got back. Here are some stuff that I brought back from the gaming league competition. All the big names were there: Intel, Nvidia, Razer, Ablerex UPS, Shuttle....etc. etc.

Finally! I've reached the end of my post! I took 3 hrs trying to post the pics...

hehe....I' happy for several reasons, not so happy for some...but it doesn't really matter, exams over-I'm happy.

my warcraft 3 screwed up 2day...I'll have to reinstall it....sigh....

Sooo....now I look forward to 80 days out with my friends....or being bored to death at home...so now I'm deciding to embark on some ambitious projects over the holidays.....some to do with my computer (i'm thinking of upgrading it....or at least reduce the temp its running at)..others not...like taking a job, landscaping my house's garden etc etc......

maybe going out wid my friends 2morrow....most likely will visit SLS and SLT after watching a movie...yup thats rite.....A movie...only 1...no more money after dat....must save to cool my com....

Ahhh...Finally.....

Ahh well...its been 1 week of exams already.... and I finally have time to blog.....

Anyway I had 2 of my 'worst' subjects on the same day!....Chinese Paper 1 and physics....well the chinese was good...I had a small writer's block while writing though but managed to finish it on time :) .....and physics? well I say that there were some questions that I had no idea how to do....you see, I only studied the theory part of physics....as in memorising the forumlaes and definition but did not know how to apply it in the paper....however, i did my best and left no questions undone....I was surprise that even the 5 'smartest' boys in physics were unable to finish it! Now I'm left wondering wethether I was extremely careless or they did not study...hmmm what do you think?

As I look back on the papers that I've done I only can say 1 thing-that is that I have tried my best in my exams. Physics, well , I won't comment untill i've reached the end of my exams, which is in....hmmm lemme see...12-8...4 days time...the only thing I'm looking forward to after the exams is the CPL Gaming League coming to S'pore from the 15th to 17th of Oct...after that...I'll see....worry about today and let tomorrow worry about itself!

Exams

Well...what can i say? Its exams already....time passes very quickly....all I can do is to study for the exams and put my faith in God that he will guide me thru this period in my life...and may I put all my strength and hope in God that He will help me to do well in this exam....and I won't delay anymore and start studying now....good luck to me!
